ZACCHAEUS PROJECT
 VACANCY f
or an ADMIN ASSISTANT

 Salary: £28,500 FTE (25 hours per week), depending on experience 
Location: Bethnal Green Methodist Church 
Reports to: Zacchaeus Project Manager 
Closing Date: Wednesday 19th November 2025 

The Zacchaeus Project has been run by the Methodist Church in Tower Hamlets since 1999, delivering support primarily for older people and their carers to help improve health and well-being and combat social exclusion in our local community. We provide various health and wellbeing activities together with advice and guidance, workshops and IT support, from Monday to Friday at our Bethnal Green Church and on Tuesdays at our Bow Road Church for over 900 members, with 2 staff, 5 sessional workers and 20 volunteers. This role would suit someone with strong administrative and interpersonal skills, who is passionate about facilitating the maximum independence of older people and their carers, who find it increasingly difficult to navigate the systems around healthcare, bereavement, benefits and social support.
